Go big. Go home.
There’s a Buddhist saying that states that you recognize truth because it has one taste, the taste of liberation.
Yet choosing truth over comfort comes at a prize. Interlocked and intertwined become our minds when we live close to each other for a while. To liberate oneself from these bonds you’ve created, maybe even only from your own will power overriding your true identity, can take multiple lifetimes.
Yet again, you can choose happiness. Be courageous. Live free. Because not choosing truth over comfort comes at an even bigger prize.
Once you’ve made that decision, you will need the courage to pursue your destiny. You will need the stamina and strength to persevere through the hurdles and defeats. You will need to keep up in order to be kept up.
And that’s the key. To keep up to be kept up. In the midst of it all, when all things fall, when you feel like you’ve broken everything that ever mattered to you, you will find God. Or at least that’s my prayer for you. When you go deep, and even deeper, and even deeper, when you don’t know where to find the energy to fight anymore for your most precious human right, your right to be free, there it is. A sense of peace. A calmness in the middle of the chaos. Your connection to the Divine.
Once you’ve locked into that, there’s no coming back. You’re in the light. You are the Light. Here, you can be as big as you want. You can take up that time and space. You can breathe in the magic, breathe out the wonder. You are the infinite into the finite. You’re one. You’re safe. You’ve arrived.
So go big. Go home.
